![]() For blu-ray ISO/MVC/SSIF frame-packed, it’s probably easier to use a standalone media player or PowerDVD on a PC. ![]() Both 60fps and 24fps source material work fine. The steps I list are for frame sequential ( ) for source material that is either side-by-side or top-n-bottom. I’m sure there is probably an easier way to get it to work, but I’m sharing my steps so others can try it out and see if there are ways to further simplify it and/or make it more robust. There are very occasional frame glitches but the left and right eye stay locked once the correct setting is picked at the start of the video. I’ve had the Optoma UHD38 for 2 weeks and have been trying to get consistent frame sequential working without the left and right eyes constantly flipping. Frankly, bluray players are so cheap, and most have 3D capability, that trying to push PC 3D video to a projector is a wasted effort. ![]() This has been an issue for years with PC owners trying to get 3D into their projectors. If you are using a PC with disc player, then it's probably going to be a bluray disc, and that won't work unless you have a bluray disc player and a good graphics card that handles Frame packed on your PC. If you are sending it video from a 3D video that you downloaded, it might be in SidebySide mode, or if you ripped a video, it will not work in page-flipped unless you have the right MKV file type possibly. The latest Stereoscopic Player should work. (Edit, see my second post-this applies to bluray only) If you are trying any other formats, it won't work. This projector only takes 3D in 24fps x 1080p or 60fps x 720p at 120hz. Page flipping requires a quad buffered graphics card, I believe, and requires 120hz for sure, as the UHD35 only does 3D in Frame Packing (up to 1080p) typically bluray orįrame Sequential (up to 1080p), which is page flipping
